This was our first creation; a story that wrote itself with the ink of unfathomable amounts of love held for a very special lady.
 
In 2020, our family experienced the heartbreak of losing a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. How do you begin to explain to a girl of only five years of age and a boy of two that their favourite person is no longer here?
The only way that made sense to me at the time, was to sit down and create a little fairy tale, its writing to embody the amazing qualities of our ‘love beam’, and its illustrations coming straight from my daughter’s heart.
 
The creation of the book was a very cathartic process, and we truly hope that its message may continue to support others in times of grief.
